From my Secret Pal ~

Well I know that you have all been patient with me. These pictures just aren't coming out the way that I would like, and I am the type that will spend hours trying to make them look good. This is the best I could do. It sure doesn't do my gifts any justice!! They are so much nicer in person!! Thank you Secret Pal, you literally pulled my frown upside down yesterday!



Starting from the left: A great pattern for crocheting and felting a basket,and a rug that my kitties, and I will love!!!

Top: One of those knifty clover cutters that I have been wanting so bad!

And: (big drumroll here) A handmade, and (designed by my secret pal) a cell phone cozy! That is my phone next to it just to show that yes it does fit, and also that it is going right back in it! It also has a nice big size wooden button that keeps it closed really nice. Hanging from my pocket book right where it should be is the greatest thing! Now I can actually find my phone in time to answer it. :)

I wonder what you all thought it was... hmmmm... LOL

Yesterday!

Well I was on my way out the door, to go shopping with my Mom, and my daughter. I looked over at the mailbox, and to my great surprise there it was, another package from my secret pal! My mother, and daughter both looked at me strangely, because I would not put the package down as I did with my other mail. I was bringing it with me! I figured our first stop was lunch as usual, and I would open it then. Tell me who wants to wait?? After all I did hold out until the restaraunt... even though I was speeding! LOL As soon as we sat down I immediately started ripping, and gnawing at the package... lol My two favorite people were laughing at me, and also excited, as I screamed with happiness at each item that I pulled out of the package. Others were also trying to peak. It was like picking something secret of a hat, because I hate killing a surprise and spill everything out of a package. Each item has to have its own scream! lol Trust me I love everything! If I could have this secret pal year round I would! (hint, hint, hint) Anyway I will not ruin the surprise for any reader that stops by. You will have to wait until I post the picture later today. One thing I want to say to my secret pal is that you are a gem! You really put thought into everything, and I appreciate that so much. I will also tell you that I started using your handmade item right away, in the restaraunt. I do have one,it fit, and it is there now! LOL That sounds great... Bye for now all...

House Repair!

Well I have been hanging close to the house lately. We are having a new much nicer porch put on the front of our somewhat old house. This project wakes me up in the morning with either a jack hammer chopping away, or a sledge hammer banging. Either way they both feel like they are splitting my head open. LOL Don't get me wrong I am happy to have the porch finally being done, but the noise. OMG!!! I am sure that the mail man is happy too... since he threatened not to deliver my mail a few months ago. LOL Yes he is a jerk! I will post pictures of this project in process when I upload them from my camera. I want to get the beginning to end phase. That way it will be more dramatic.

Secret Pal Swap!

Here is a picture of the goodies that I received from my secret pal at Crochetville. I received some great yarn, a handmade doiley, and a beautiful handmade bracelet. Included in the picture is the bag that my goodies were in. I have also received secret online cards, as well as a download for a pattern. I can hardly wait to find out who my pal is. Thank you so much!! You have made this alot of fun!!

I did it!

I finally got the page to look like I want it. Knowing me that won't last. LOL Anyway this is what I spent most of my night doing. Actually the hardest part was adding my button. Now that I think I have that figured out, maybe I can add other people's links as well. If you take mine I'll definitly take yours thats for sure. Signing out for now. I have to hit the pillow.
