Just today!

Well I am sorry that I haven't written in a few. Just been down in the dumps, but I don't want to bring anyone else down with me. I have been working very hard on my squares to finish off the Christmas swap. I keep trying new patterns that I like, but find that the patterns are difficult unless I adjust to my own liking. lol thats me... Anyway I want to get one thing done at a time, and I would also like to make some presents for family members. I still haven't started on my scarf swap yet. Still a little confused about what to make for someone in a sunny state. I should have waited for the survey to come back first, because I went out and bought fun fur for the first time, and the person doesn't like it. However my daughter did peak in the bag, and screamed with glee when she saw it!! She said Mom I hope I didn't ruin a surprise for me or something. (It is her favorite color... pink) I told her that it was for one of my swaps, but I think she will be surprised at Christmas. I plan on using it with regular heavy weight soft yarn because it gets so cold here. Well I am off for now. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

This my Betty... she helps with stress!

lol, I know what you mean about wanting to make Christmas stuff and not getting to it. The list I have for Christmas...*sigh*. But people keep giving me new work to do, that pushes Christmas stuff further and further back...arrrgh.

That's so cute about your daughter...at least you know what she wants, now, don't you? lol

I have a pattern from Creative Knitting for a lacy type scarf. Let me know if you want it.

Hey lady...
I'm in a sunny state, and I use scaves ALL THE TIME in the winter. Of course, I am near some mountains, and it gets down-right cold here sometimes (cold for me being under 45 degrees - I know...hahaha!).
I say that anything goes! (I know I'd like just about any weight of scarf!) (and that is NOT a bratty hint!)

:) hee!
